One of the things that I love about fashion is that you can mix expensive with wallet-friendly pieces that will make a cheap outfit look super expensive without breaking the bank (and drive the hubs crazy!).
The budget pieces I wore on this look all together cost less than $60! Yes, with shoes included!
This dressy navy-blue romper bought me in when I saw the double layers it has on the top. I don’t personally like supper-fitted rompers around the waist line and they flyaway layer that this one has -besides looking lovely- does a great job covering the waist line all the way to the back, hiding that stubborn back fat we all hate! How couldn’t I love this romper? It became my allied from the moment I notice it keeps my “body concerns” top secret. Yes sister, after pregnancy I also struggle trying to get my body back to where it was (which I don’t see happening anytime soon) but that’s another whole different story I will make sure to cover on a separate post.
I paired this lovely romper with heeled gladiator sandals, which are sill in style with square-heeled options available. I absolutely love the square heels because they are super trendy and very comfy, especially when you are constantly running trying to chase a toddler that just learned how to walk. These braided heeled gladiator sandals recently on sale at Target and thanks to their tan color, they are my current go-to for pretty must most of my outfits.
To complete this look, I threw on some cute jewelry pieces in gold that I got from Target as well and are less than $10. All jewelry is on sale now at Target!
Finally, one way to make a cheap outfit look expensive is to include a mid-range Designer handbag, like the one I’m wearing here that is a Michael Kors tote that, by the way, is on sale now. You’re welcome bella!
Finding the right stores is always the key to accomplish that affordable formula that look super expensive! Which is your go-to store(s) to find cheap chic outfits?
