This is the time of the year when everyone has at least one social event to attend and you know the drill girl, we go through a whole production for it. From what we’re going to wear from head to toe and including accessories and makeup. The makeup application is not a big of a deal; however, it can be challenging when you apply false lashes and it takes you more than one try to get them in place to the point that you just end up giving up.
If you struggle applying your falsies, read these 5 useful tips that will help you achieve a successful application:
1.Curl and put mascara on your natural lashes BEFORE applying your false lashes.
2. Once you put mascara on your own lashes, take the false lashes out of the box and try them on. Do not add the glue just yet as this step is only to check if you would need to trim them or not depending on how they fit into your lash line.
3. Don’t ever apply the lashes too close to the tear duct. If you do this, as you blink the tears will transfer to the lashes and will remove the glue from the band.
4. Once you apply the false lashes, press them onto your natural lashes using your fingers, by pressing them both together. A pro- tip that works wonders is curling them with a lash curler and bam! The job is done for you!
5. Apply mascara very gently only to the tip of your false lashes. Avoid using too much of mascara during this step; otherwise, your lashes will look clumpy.
I hope these tips are useful to you, friends! I will also link below my favorite lashes and a brief description of the type of look they are best for. Enjoy and tell me, which ones are your favorite?
