1. Always keep a mid to long-length sweater with you!
This will become your huger for those cold mornings and cold late afternoons! I normally choose to wear mid-length because I’m only 5.2ft so, if I wear something too long will make me look shorter than normal.
2. Booties and Snickers (depending on your preference and occasion) will be your go-to shoes
If you love wearing heels like me, your go-to shoes will definitely be a nice pair of booties! But, if your a mom-on-the-go with more than one kid running everywhere, I hear you! The following are great fashionable options too:
3. Don’t put away your denim shorts and skirts just yet
If you live in a place where the weather gets pretty weird, please don’t put your shorts and skirts just yet. You can, but you don’t have to buy another pair of shorts or a new skirt for this transition; just keep wearing the ones that you were wearing during the summer. You’re prepared with a long sweater and the right shoes for the cold hours, so you’ll be perfectly fine!
4. Add a neutral/pastel color to your outfit
This is really something that I love to do when selecting an outfit. I know that there are certain guidelines in terms of “seasonal” colors, but it really is about personality and preference. There is no good or bad on this one, really. As long as your colors make a great harmony together, you’re fine! I love to wear pastels, so that way I am not looking like too dark or too light if it gets warmer during the day.
That’s it loves! I hope these tips are helpful and my outfit gives you some inspo when selecting yours!
5. Add a statement bag
This is very important because you will need a place to keep a scarf or your sweater! This also gives a more glam touch to any outfit even more if it’s a designer bag, but if not, don’t worry! H&M and Target have such beautiful bags that will do the job just as fine without breaking the bank!
